John-e's journey began at 17 in Macau, pioneering the dance scene in Asia before crafting his sound in London's underground circuit from 1997 to 2000. This unique blend of Eastern and British electronic roots shaped his versatile style, seamlessly mixing break-beat, minimal techno, and deep house.

Since returning to Portugal in 2000, he has become a celebrated producer and live performer, earning 'Best Newcomer DJ' nominations and playing major festivals like Creamfields, Rock in Rio, and Boom Festival. From residencies in Asia to iconic European clubs like The Egg and Lux, John-e continues to innovate, currently running the New Breed Label.
